A Timeless Country Wedding in Brookville, Pennsylvania
July weddings are known to be a little hot. David and Megan’s day was no exception. It was a warm summer day for a Western Pennsylvania wedding and anyone that lives here knows what the build up of humidity can bring! Pop-Up Thunderstorms! While driving to the ceremony, my phone was sending severe thunderstorm alerts and the sky was turning darker by the second. Thankfully everyone was undercover in the church when the clouds let loose and for the most part, it was all over by the time the ceremony ended… just in time for gorgeous portraits.
David and Megan work in the public school system in Greencastle which is also where they met. It was really so sweet to listen to David share during his vows how he would purposely position himself during the day so that he could “bump into” Megan. It obviously worked because there is undeniable chemistry between these two. I thought it was very fitting that a school bus was ready to transport the newly wed teachers and bridal party to the reception!
Carter and Jaxson were also such a huge part of the day and it was heartwarming to see their family become official. Watching twins together is so fun and these two certainly had the dance moves! At first I thought they were so quiet…and then I saw them at the reception! They had such a blast taking photos, blasting confetti cannons and breaking it down on the dance floor!
Megan and David had the sweetest phone conversation right before the ceremony!
