An Elegant Summer Wedding at Dubois Country Club
There are so many things that I could say about this day…. about this couple… about their story… about their joy. I’ll start by saying this…. I shed more tears in this day than I have at any other wedding. Maybe it’s because I have watched Olivia and Tyler grow up over the years and they are like family to me or maybe it’s because they really planned out so many thoughtful opportunities in their day that were so captivating to witness. I will never forget watching these two hold hands around the corner from each other so they could pray together prior to their ceremony. Tears were flowing, not only between Olivia and Tyler but also anyone within an ear’s length away. Shortly after their prayer Tyler and his father, Mark, embraced for an emotional hug. It was clear that these two share a special bond and without saying a word, Mark was able to express his love and pride for his son.
Another favorite part of the day for me was the father/daughter first look. I knew from the rehearsal that this was going to be a very sentimental day for Harold. The moment he laid his eyes on Olivia in her wedding gown, EVERYONE was crying! Olivia looked so radiant and it made me think to my own daughter’s wedding someday. Olivia is so beautiful inside and out…and it brought me such joy to see her so happy.
