I recently had the pleasure of photographing Ethan, an exceptional senior from DuBois Area High School. Having worked with his older sister Madison two years ago for her senior portraits, I was thrilled when Ethan reached out to me for his own session. There’s something so special about working with family members of previous clients—it feels like reconnecting with old friends while creating new memories!
Ethan is a talented, easy-going, and kind-hearted young man with a wide range of interests. Among his many passions, two stand out—his involvement in Boy Scouts and his spot on the volleyball team. He’s been a Boy Scout from a young age, so it was only fitting that we chose Camp Mountain Run, a place close to his heart, for his senior portraits. The setting was perfect, capturing the essence of Ethan’s dedication to scouting and the outdoors.
During our session, I discovered that Ethan had just completed his Eagle Scout project, and to my surprise, his contribution is something my own kids have been enjoying—a Ga-ga ball pit at my church! Hearing that brought such joy, knowing his hard work is already bringing smiles to so many.
Ethan’s dedication doesn’t stop with scouting or sports. His love for working with kids, especially after a recent mission trip to Honduras this past summer, has inspired him to pursue a career in the medical field. He hopes to become a pediatrician, combining his passion for helping children with his desire to make a lasting impact on their lives.
With his kind, compassionate nature and his drive to serve others, I have no doubt that Ethan will make an incredible pediatrician one day. It was an absolute joy to capture his senior portraits, and I’m excited to see where the future takes him!
