Introducing Michael, a senior at Jeff Tech! It’s funny how life works sometimes. You can live just a few houses down from someone for years and not really know them until life brings you together. That’s exactly what happened with Michael, my neighbor, who I finally had the pleasure of meeting and photographing for his senior session.
Michael is a senior in the DuBois Area School District and attends Jeff Tech, where he’s enrolled in the HVAC training program. He’s the kind of guy who’s not afraid of a challenge, which is clear not just from his training but from his love of the outdoors and adventurous spirit. Michael is the type who faces life head-on, always ready for the next adventure. With an eye on a future career in law enforcement, he’s already thinking about how he can make an impact in the world—and I have no doubt he will.
We kicked off his session right in our neighborhood, using another neighbor’s gorgeous property that was lush with fields of goldenrod. The late summer skies were absolutely stunning, with just the right amount of clouds and that perfect, soft light. It was a beautiful, peaceful setting that really captured Michael’s down-to-earth nature.
From there, we headed to Kyle Lake, a favorite spot for locals, especially in the fall. The trees were just starting to change, their leaves adding pops of golden and red to the landscape. The water was calm, reflecting the brilliant blue of the sky. It made for the perfect backdrop to showcase Michael’s adventurous side. Of course, no trip to Kyle Lake is complete without climbing the big rock (if you know, you know!). And Michael, true to his love for a challenge, was all in for that!
Michael, it was a pleasure finally meeting you after all these years! Thank you for allowing me to capture your Jeff Tech senior session! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for you.
