We were beyond excited to photograph Danielle and Warren’s Pittsburgh NYE Wedding. What made it even more special is that we had just captured Danielle’s brother’s wedding a few weeks earlier—Elena and Dylan. It’s such an honor to be asked back to photograph another wedding for members of the same family, especially when you hit it off so well during the engagement session. Danielle and Warren’s engagement session was one of the most beautiful evenings, and we knew their wedding would be just as amazing.

Incorporating Marine Traditions

One of the coolest parts of this Pittsburgh NYE Wedding was the way they celebrated Warren’s service as a Marine. At the end of the ceremony, they did a saber arch—such a powerful moment. And for the cake cutting? Warren used his Marine sword! It was such a personal touch and added something unique to the celebration.

Weather Woes and Perfect Timing for Photos

The weather was a little tricky that day—cold and rainy, which made us think we might not be able to get outside for photos. But right when we thought all hope was lost, the clouds parted, and we got about 10 minutes of sunshine. That perfect timing allowed us to capture some beautiful, sunny portraits. Sometimes the weather surprises you, and we were lucky enough to have that little break.

A Bridal Party Full of Fun and Laughter

We had an absolute blast with the bridal party. They were so fun, full of energy, and easy to work with. From the ceremony to the reception, we had so many moments to capture—lots of laughter and lots of smiles. Danielle and Warren’s Pittsburgh NYE Wedding was truly one to remember, and we’re so thankful we could be a part of their special day.
