Rhys is an outstanding Brookville senior, and I had the joy of spending an evening capturing his senior photos. We began our session in downtown DuBois, soaking in the texture of the brick and the charm of the streets. After that, we headed to the walkway where the bridges, trees, and creek gave us a peaceful and natural backdrop.
Rhys brought a go-with-the-flow energy that made the entire session feel relaxed and effortless. What stood out most to me was the conversation. Rhys shared about his dreams and goals for the future, and I left feeling encouraged and inspired. He’s an incredibly gifted musician, mastering several instruments, though his primary focus is the flute. Right now, he’s preparing for auditions and applications to some of the most prestigious music schools in the country.
His dedication is clear, but what’s even more powerful is his trust in the Lord’s plan for his life. Rhys holds his gifts with open hands, using them not for his own recognition, but to bring honor to the One who gave them to him. His faith is strong and steady, and it was so encouraging to witness that through our conversations together.
Outside of his own studies, this Brookville senior pours into the next generation of musicians. Rhys teaches music lessons to younger kids, sharing both his knowledge and his joy. It’s clear that he makes an impact, not just because he’s talented, but because he leads with passion and kindness.
