Karissa is a DuBois senior with a bright future and a beautiful heart. What a pleasure it was to celebrate this young lady! Her senior session began at Walter Dick Memorial Park in Brookville, where the peaceful waters of the dam provided the perfect backdrop. The light reflected off the water, and Karissa shined just as brightly.
We then headed to Meadow and Twilight Farm, where the bright summer blooms surrounded us. The colors were soft and stunning, just like Karissa. But what made this session even more special was the love that showed up for her. Her mom and her boyfriend, Aidan, joined in to celebrate her. They helped with all the little things… holding outfits, fixing hair, cheering her on, and their presence showed just how loved Karissa is.
Karissa is the kind of girl who impresses you right away. She’s hardworking, driven, and focused on her goals. She’s also sweet, thoughtful, and kind, and behind that gentle spirit is a strong, brave heart. I loved chatting and getting to know what is beyond her beautiful exterior. She truly is a special young woman.
After graduation, Karissa will take a bold step and join the U.S. Air Force. Her plan is to train in nursing, using her gifts to serve and care for others. For this DuBois senior to make such a selfless, courageous decision is truly inspiring. She’s not just dreaming big, she’s doing big things!
Karissa, thank you for letting me be part of this chapter in your life. Your joy, your strength, and your heart for others make you one-of-a-kind.
