One of the most moving parts of the day was Sydney and Dalton’s first touch. Instead of seeing each other before the ceremony, they stood on either side of a doorway. They held hands, exchanged private vows, and shared gifts. It was quiet and emotional. You could feel how much they love and respect one another.

During that same moment, they were prayed over by the pastors from the church I attend. That added such a special layer for me personally. These are people who know my family and who have spoken into my own life. Watching them bless Sydney and Dalton felt sacred. Being there to photograph that moment felt like such a gift.

Their ceremony included a time capsule that they filled with letters to each other. These letters will be opened on a future anniversary. It was such a sweet idea. Even in the middle of the excitement, they made time to pause and create something meaningful for the future.

While they chose not to have a traditional bridal party, Sydney had a group of close friends stand with her as her “something blue.” They were full of love and support. You could tell how much she means to them. It was such a thoughtful and personal choice.

Prince, their videographer, was such a great creative partner throughout the day. Everyone worked together with ease, which made things feel smooth and stress-free.

The florals were stunning. From Sydney’s bouquet to the ceremony arrangements, everything felt soft and romantic. Each bloom added to the feeling of joy that filled their beautiful Harper Event Center wedding.
