Sarah Joy | Brockway Area High School, Class of 2026

Seniors

Sarah Joy’s senior session was one of those evenings that felt super special. We spent our time together in celebration of who SJ is and the exciting path she’s about to take. From the moment we started, I could feel the mix of pride, determination, and hope that surrounds her senior year.

We began at the American Legion in Brockway, a meaningful spot for SJ. It perfectly captured her patriotic spirit and honored those who have served before her. It was the right setting to reflect where her heart is leading her… toward a future in the military! She’s still deciding between the Army and the Air Force, but one thing is certain: SJ plans to enter the military police academy and train as a K-9 handler. Her love for animals runs deep, and this career path feels like a perfect fit.

Of course, we had to include her sweet pup, Dipper. Watching the two of them together was a reminder of the bond she shares with animals, one that is gentle, loyal, and full of trust. We also talked about her love for photography, especially photographing dogs. It’s another way her compassion shines through.

The second half of Sarah Joy’s senior session took us to Meadow and Twilight Farm. The lighting was perfect, and as always, the floral blooms surrounded our senior and made for the most beautiful backdrop. Seeing SJ’s confidence grow from beginning to end was such a joy to witness.

SJ, you are determined, hardworking, and full of courage. You have a brave heart and a strong will, and I know you’ll carry those traits into everything you do! Thanks so much for entrusting me with this milestone. Have an amazing senior year!
