MARISSA & CRISTOFER
Marissa and Cristofer’s Laube Hall wedding was years in the making, and it felt extra special because we’ve been walking alongside them through every step. From the moment they booked, their excitement and attention to detail were clear. So when the big day finally arrived, it was an absolute joy to celebrate this sweet couple.
Sweet Moments and Sentimental Touches
One of the most emotional moments came early in the day when Marissa shared a first look with her father’s best friend, Mike. Because her father has passed away, this moment held so much weight and love. There wasn’t a dry eye around.
Shortly after, she had her first look with Cristofer. As soon as he turned around and saw her, the emotion hit. His face lit up with awe, and everyone nearby teared up right along with him. The connection between them was so genuine it was one of those moments that stays with you forever.
Game Day Energy and Family Traditions
Before the ceremony, the guys brought serious Pittsburgh energy to their getting ready time. Cristofer and his groomsmen wore jerseys for some fun game-day style photos, and the hype was real. Later in the day, they even set up a football game outside the venue, with both the guys and girls jumping in. It was hilarious and added such a fun, lighthearted energy to the afternoon.
Another favorite memory was the bubble exit at the church. The machine filled the air with floating bubbles as the newlyweds walked out hand in hand. It was pure magic and made for the dreamiest photos.
A Reception Full of Surprises
When the reception kicked off, the joy was contagious. The newlyweds made their grand entrance waving Terrible Towels, a nod to their Pittsburgh pride. One of the most unforgettable moments came when Cristofer hit the dance floor with a full Michael Jackson routine. Turns out, he learned the choreography in high school with the help of their DJ who also happened to be his choir teacher at the time. Talk about a full-circle moment!
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a variety of food stations, from pasta and Philly cheesesteaks to Pittsburgh salads and mashed potatoes. And let’s not forget the Pittsburgh cookie table, overflowing with more cookies than anyone could count.
Dancing, Laughs, and Lasting Love
Their reception was packed with laughter and heartfelt moments. The kids even had a dance mashup with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Frozen, and Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride from Lilo and Stitch. Everyone loved it. Later, Marissa shared a choreographed dance with her mom in honor of her late father, and it was so beautifully done.
From private vows to sunset portraits and a sparkler send-off, every part of this Laube Hall wedding felt meaningful and joyful. Marissa and Cristofer poured so much love into their day, and it was truly a celebration worth remembering.
