MAGGIE & JONATHAN
Maggie and Jonathan’s wedding was a day filled with love, beauty, and connection. Their wedding at Whitetail Lodge in Marysville, Pennsylvania, was truly special. Nestled deep in the woods, the venue offered the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance. Every moment, from heartfelt family first looks to joyful laughter with friends, reflected the deep bond Maggie and Jonathan share. And having known Maggie and her family for years, it really was such an honor to be there to capture it all.
A Thoughtful Start to the Day
The day began at a cozy Airbnb that Maggie had chosen with great care. Every detail, from the colors to the décor, was intentionally planned to match the aesthetic of the day. Maggie’s planning and preparation of even the smallest details was exquisite. The space felt warm and inviting as Maggie and her bridesmaids got ready in their matching outfits.
The morning was filled with sweet moments. Hair and makeup were handled by Valla, a talented artist and a familiar friend. Her presence, and her adorable assistant (Valla’s baby boy) brought some extra joy, love, and giggles. Maggie’s mom, Kelly, looked radiant as she helped her daughter prepare. Watching the two of them together was a reminder of the timeless bond between mother and daughter.
Family Moments That Mattered
Before heading to the venue, Maggie shared emotional first looks with her brothers, Carter and Adam, and then with her dad. These quiet, tender moments allowed the family to pause, reflect, and share tears and laughter before the busy celebration began. It was a beautiful reminder that family will always be at the center of the happy moments in our lives.
A Ceremony in the Woods
The ceremony location for the wedding at Whitetail Lodge was absolutely stunning. Down a hill and surrounded by tall trees stood a wooden cross. Sunlight poured gently through the leaves, illuminating the spot where Maggie and Jonathan shared private vows before their ceremony. Their first look there was incredibly touching, filled with laughter, tears, and a sense of peace.
As guests gathered, the woods created a serene, almost sacred setting. The ceremony was heartfelt and deeply personal. After the couple was announced as husband and wife, they sealed the moment with a picture-perfect dip that had everyone cheering.
Portraits and Golden Light
Afterward, the couple joined their bridal party for portraits. The laughter, inside jokes, and relaxed energy made for genuine, joyful photos. Maggie’s cathedral-length veil caught the light perfectly, adding an elegant touch to every image. The late afternoon sun streamed through the trees, casting a golden glow that made the setting even more beautiful.
A Reception Full of Love
Then, the evening continued with heartfelt speeches as warm laughter filled the room. To begin, Maggie’s dad gave a meaningful welcome, sharing stories about his daughter’s life and officially welcoming Jonathan into the family. Afterward, Maggie took a moment to dedicate her bouquet to her mom, another special moment reflecting the bond they share.
Following the speeches, guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner, lively conversation, and plenty of dancing. The atmosphere was full of joy and celebration, with smiles and laughter everywhere.
Maggie and Jonathan’s wedding at Whitetail Lodge was an incredible celebration of love and family. It was an honor to capture such a gorgeous day, and congratulations to the newlyweds, Maggie and Jonathan!
