You know that feeling when you’re around someone who makes you feel completely at ease—like you can be 100% yourself without even trying? That’s the best feeling. And that’s exactly how I felt around Abigail and Andrew (aka Hondo).
These two are incredibly laid back, joyful, and so easy to be around. From the very start of their engagement session, laughter filled the air—and it never stopped. Every smile was genuine, every moment felt natural, and I loved every single second of capturing their connection.
We ventured to Cook Forest Canoe Rental, a place that holds so much meaning for Hondo, who has worked there for years. I absolutely loved that they chose a location that felt like them. Engagement sessions are always extra special when couples choose places tied to their story, and this one could not have been more perfect.
And of course, their sweet boy Otis joined in on the fun too—because engagement sessions are always better with a pup involved. 🐾 His playful spirit fit right in with the easygoing, joyful vibe of the entire evening.
Abigail and Hondo, thank you for being such genuinely fun, kind, and wonderful people. I’m so grateful I got to capture this season of your lives and tell a small piece of your story. I’m counting down the days until your 2019 wedding and all the joy that’s still to come.
