SYDNEY & BRADLEY Some engagement sessions just feel like summer, and Sydney and Bradley’s Summer Cook Forest Engagement was exactly that. It was one of those sessions that felt easy, light, and so full of joy. A Special Spot Close to Home We met Sydney and Bradley along River Road near Pale Well in Cook […]
Some engagement sessions are just extra special, and Michael and Elizabeth’s Erie Engagement Session was one of those days that felt like pure magic. Not only did we get to photograph these two in beautiful places, but we got to tell a love story that’s deeply connected to the very spots where we shot.
Beyond the flowers and stunning summer skies, what stood out most about this Summer Hershey Gardens Engagement was how deeply Abby and Tyler care for each other. Their session was full of fun, gentle affection, and moments that felt real and heartfelt. It’s couples like these who remind the SHP team why we love capturing love stories so much.
Jessica and Matt’s Cook Forest Engagement session was everything I love about photographing in Western Pennsylvania—sunshine, forest paths, riverside views, and a couple that brings such genuine warmth to the camera. We had the perfect evening for it too! The sun peeked out just in time for golden hour, giving their session that soft, romantic glow that photographers dream about.
After what felt like endless days of rain and gray skies, the sun finally decided to make an appearance—and just in time for Nicole and Dominic’s beautiful Hartwood Acres engagement session! I could not have asked for a better evening. The light was soft and golden, the breeze was perfect, and this sweet couple brought all the love and laughter.
Sometimes, the best sessions come from simply embracing whatever the day brings—and Miranda and Nico’s Overcast Reynoldsville Engagement was the perfect example of that. The weather had been unpredictable all day, but when our session time arrived, it settled into a calm, overcast evening. No rain, no wind, just soft clouds that gave us a perfect sky for photos.
Sam and Jason’s Milton Hershey Engagement session was one of those evenings that just felt like magic. We explored the beautiful grounds of Milton Hershey School, and even with a little wind and overcast skies, these two brought all the sunshine we needed. Between the historic architecture, peaceful paths, and blooming spring trees, there couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for their love story.
There’s something so special about photographing a couple in a place that means something to them—and Marissa and Vince’s Brockway Engagement session was exactly that. Set in the heart of a sweet little town in western Pennsylvania, this session felt like home from start to finish.
There’s something extra special about sharing a first-time adventure with your person—and for Aleya and Adam, their White Cliffs engagement session was just that. New location, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of fast walking (more on that in a sec).
Winter engagement sessions have a unique charm, and Erin & Blake’s session at McConnells Mill State Park was no exception. Despite the chilly air, the beauty of the park and the love between this amazing couple made for an unforgettable day.
