I love those emotional moments when the dress goes on, bridesmaids cheer, and moms tear up. These moments deserve beautiful light. And the good news? You don’t need much to make it happen.

And if there aren’t any obvious options? Don’t worry—I’ll find one. I’ve searched entire buildings to find the perfect light, and it always makes a difference.
Keep the Getting Ready Space Clean
Let’s be honest—bridal suites get messy fast. Bags, makeup, water bottles, and hair tools pile up quickly. That’s completely normal!
However, for the best getting ready wedding photos, try to keep the area around the window clear. A quick cleanup makes a huge difference and keeps distractions out of your images.
Dress Your Bridesmaids First
Another simple tip: have your bridesmaids fully dressed before you put on your gown. This creates a cohesive, polished look in your photos. It also helps your album feel more consistent and visually appealing.
