A Mount Tabor Church & Chateau d’Argy Wedding Brookville, Pennsylvania
It’s hard to describe just how much I loved this day. Everything was authentic and genuine and full of the best kind of emotion! Abby and Hondo were married in the cutest little country church in Sigel, PA. It started as a perfect summer day but just as we have grown to expect in PA, right at portrait time the wind picked up and I knew we had limited time for getting any type of portraits. The entire wedding party and family was so wonderful and patient with me as I finished portraits in record time! Even though it all happened very fast, I’m still in love with the portraits from the day!
I loved being surrounded by their family and friends. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Abby and her father hopped on the dance floor and surprised everyone with a song they had choreographed together. Everyone was cheering them on and then the dance floor filled up and stayed full for hours and hours! It was a joyful celebration of a wonderful couple!! Hondo and Abby, congratulations on this special new season of life! I hope your trip to Jamaica is breathtaking!
Abby’s Mother, Lisa, and I shared such a sweet moment as she asked me to photograph this very special ring. This was Abby’s ring as a baby (turquoise-her favorite color) and it really put things into perspective to see this tiny ring up against her wedding band.
So many things to celebrate! Not only were we celebrating a wedding but also had a chance to capture Danielle and her little baby bump!
After finishing up Hondo’s portraits I asked if there was anything else he would like to to capture. I had no idea what I was in for!
Showing off their pockets!
Abby made ALL the signs for the wedding!
Abby and her Dad surprised everyone with a dance they had been practicing for her wedding day! It went off with a hit!
Abby shared how special her father-in-law is because Mr. MacBeth was also her sixth grade teacher! Many of her guests at the party were part of Abby’s 6th grade year too. They shared with me that when in sixth grade, Mr. MacBeth would give them 1 million dollars if they found him on the designated date in the future. Many students have kept these notes over the years and have even framed this special little “million dollar” ticket. No one has cashed it in yet!
Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!
