Katie and Keith are a beautiful couple. I’ve been looking forward to capturing their day since their engagement session last fall when I realized just how photogenic they both are! Not only are they natural in front of the camera but they are incredibly genuine and kind. They were so excited to finally be married. When you see their genuine smiles and laughter in their portraits you’ll see the sweet chemistry they share!
Claire and I loved being surrounded by their family and friends. One of my favorite moments of the day was during the ceremony as Katie and Keith worshiped together with all their guests. They truly love the Lord with all their hearts and it was so evident throughout the entire day. Another fun moment was when Katie surprised Keith with a haircut! During dinner, Katie’s hairdresser was there to quickly remove her long locks of hair into a whole new look! Keith was so confused and surprised and watching the reveal was the sweetest.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I scroll through other photographer’s wedding blog posts, you see pretty pictures and gorgeous couples, but you don’t really feel like you KNOW them. I’m thankful for couples who are friends and who allow us into their lives. We may only share one full day together but always leave feeling like we have made friends and have shared in a small but meaningful part of our client’s special day!! It truly is a dream job!
