Ian & Maddi

A Cornerstone Church and Allegheny River Wedding

This day was a dream. It was beautiful from a visual perspective but what really captivated me were the priceless emotions that seemed to keep flowing throughout every single part of the celebration!!

There were so many moments throughout Ian & Maddi’s wedding day that I thought to myself, “This is why I love my job.”  This entire day was full of beautiful moments that were so inspiring. I can only hope that one day when it’s Claire and Kellan’s turn to get married that we will have the privilege of praying with them, crying with them, laughing with them and cheering them on like Todd, Kelly, Heidi and Randy did for Ian and Maddi on Saturday. These are dear friends of ours and it was such a joy to capture this monumental day in their parenting journey. Watching your child marry someone who you have prayed for their entire lives has to be overwhelmingly emotional, rewarding and surreal.

Maddi and Ian’s joy and love for the Lord radiated throughout every single part of their day. You’ll be able to see what I’m talking about as you scroll through these images! There was this amazing balance of tears and laughter that hung in the atmosphere of the day from beginning to end. From the special blessing from Maddi’s grandma to their childhood youth pastor leading the ceremony, the father-daughter dance and the bridal party flash mob…it was such a special day to remember. These type of emotions flowed throughout the entire day and it was so evident that the Lord was there. The gift of marriage, the correlation of marriage to the gospel, the commitment to sacrificial love through highs and lows, the beginning of a new family.

Ian and Maddi, I hope your honeymoon is just amazing. We’re praying for the most beautiful first year of marriage for you both. You are both such lights and we can’t wait to see how God uses you and your marriage and your family in powerful ways!!!! Enjoy reliving your day through your images!!!
