CHEYENNE & TOM
I know, I know—I always talk about the weather. But when it comes to natural light photography, it really can make or break the vibe of a wedding day. The forecast leading up to Cheyenne and Tom’s Barnaroo at The Farm Wedding was… not promising. Every day that week was cold, rainy, and gray. Even the morning of the wedding started out damp and chilly. But by the time the ceremony rolled around, the skies cleared just enough. It stayed cool and windy, but the joy and excitement were more than enough to warm everyone up.
A Groom Who Couldn’t Wait
Tom was the definition of excited. From the start of the day, he was surrounded by one of the most supportive, fun-loving groups of groomsmen I’ve seen in a while. They kept spirits high, cracked jokes, and made the pre-ceremony hours fly by. And when the moment came for Tom to see Cheyenne walking down the aisle? His face said it all. It was such a sincere, heart-melting reaction—the kind that reminds you why you love weddings in the first place.
A Bride Who Shines from Within
Cheyenne looked absolutely stunning in her gown, but her beauty goes far beyond that. She radiates kindness, calm, and genuine joy. It was so easy to capture their connection—it felt like photographing something that was just naturally lit from within. These two have that kind of love that makes the job of a photographer feel effortless.
Captured by SHP Team Photographers Madi & Brittany
Their Barnaroo at The Farm Wedding was filled with heartfelt details, many of which were rooted in family. From getting ready in Cheyenne’s childhood home to portraits at the family farmhouse, the whole day felt wrapped in legacy and love. Having both the ceremony and reception on family property made everything more meaningful and relaxed. Madi and Brittany from the SHP Team did an amazing job capturing every bit of that beauty, emotion, and joy.
Cloudy Skies, Radiant Love
We didn’t get a classic golden-hour sunset, but the clouds brought their own beauty. The moody sky added drama to the portraits, and honestly? Nothing could have dimmed the love between Cheyenne and Tom. They were joyful, relaxed, and fully present with each other all day long. Their connection outshone the weather by a mile.
The entire bridal party was an absolute joy. Even with the chilly breeze, they stayed upbeat and game for anything. There was laughter, happy tears, and a whole lot of love. It’s couples like this that make even the coldest May day feel warm.
A Day to Remember
Cheyenne and Tom’s Barnaroo at The Farm Wedding was one of those days that stays with you. Not because everything went perfectly (hello, unpredictable weather), but because the couple leaned into each moment and made the most of it. Their love for each other, their families, and their friends made this day unforgettable.
If you’re planning your own Barnaroo at The Farm Wedding, take heart—no matter what the sky is doing, love like this is always the brightest part of the day.
