Introducing Kaelynn, a senior at Central Mountain High School! Kaelynn’s State College senior session was a dream come true for me. Not just because of the beautiful setting at the Penn State Arboretum, but because I got to spend the evening photographing someone who holds such a special place in my heart.
I’ve known Kaelynn for several years through our church youth group. We’ve shared deep conversations, plenty of laughs, and I’ve watched her grow into a strong leader who loves others so well. When her mom reached out to schedule senior photos, I was overjoyed. When my youth ministry and my photography overlap, I am filled with a gratitude that is sometimes hard to express.
Kaelynn is everything you’d want in a role model. She’s kind, caring, attentive, and full of grace. She leads younger students with patience and joy and truly lives out her faith every day. Her smile lights up a room, and during our time together, it lit up every space of the Arboretum. The charming paths and colorful blooms made a stunning backdrop, but Kaelynn’s joy and warmth easily outshone it all.
We picked State College as a halfway point between our hometowns, and what a fun adventure it was to explore a brand new location together. I loved watching her shine in every moment. Her confidence and laughter made this State College senior session unforgettable.
Kaelynn, I’m so grateful that you invited me into this time in your life. It truly means the world to me! I know you’ll do amazing things as you head off to college to become a dental hygienist. I’ll always be cheering you on, keeping you in prayer, and waiting with excitement to see how God continues to use you.
