Kalyn’s senior session sure was a special one! We started at Walter Dick Memorial Park, with the sky looking like it could burst open any second. Somehow, the rain held off just long enough for us to finish the first part of her session. But the moment we got into the car to head to the second spot, the skies opened up and the rain poured down. At first, it felt like bad timing, but honestly, it turned out to be such a blessing. It gave us the chance to look forward to round two, which gifted us with the most beautiful golden evening at Meadow and Twilight Farm.
Spending time with Kalyn was such a joy. As we walked, laughed, and talked, what stood out to me most was her resilience. She’s faced challenges, but she hasn’t let them define her. Instead, she carries this incredible positivity and lighthearted humor that makes her so easy to be around. She’s strong, determined, and still manages to keep joy at the center of who she is. I admire that so much.
Kalyn’s senior session reminded me that photos aren’t just about the backdrop or the outfits. They’re about the person in front of the camera… their story, their spirit, and their future. And Kalyn’s story is one of strength and hope. She has goals of becoming a physician’s assistant, and with the heart and determination she has, I know she’s going to accomplish amazing things.
I feel so lucky to have spent this time with her, capturing not just her smile, but her strength and joy in this season of life. Kalyn, thank you for spending this time with me! I wish you all the best in your senior year and beyond!
