A Wedding at The Red Fern

Weddings

Cassidy and Colton

There is something so magical about a winter wedding, but this one felt extra special from the very start. Cassidy and Colton’s wedding at The Red Fern was truly a Valentine’s Day dream!

First of all, the weather could not have been more perfect. For February, it felt surprisingly warm and sunny. Because of that, everyone spent the day smiling and soaking it all in. It was such a beautiful day for a wedding.

All the Valentine’s Day Vibes

Of course the venue just had to be decked out in red and pink. Everywhere you looked, you saw Valentine’s Day colors. The decor created such a fun atmosphere. Guests walked in and instantly felt the love in the room and it truly set the tone for the entire celebration. As a result, the whole space felt romantic, playful, and joyful.

Cassidy absolutely loves Valentine’s Day, so this theme fit her perfectly. In fact, she mentioned several times how much she adores the holiday. Having her wedding at The Red Fern on Valentine’s Day felt meant to be, and a such a reflection of her personality.

The Sweetest First Touch

One of the most emotional moments of the day was their first touch. Instead of a traditional first look, they chose to stand back to back. Then, they shared their sweet vows without seeing each other.

There were definitely tears. You could hear the emotion in their voices. Meanwhile, everyone nearby tried not to cry along with them.

Cassidy later shared something so heartfelt. As a teacher, she spends a lot of time at the beginning of the year getting her classroom ready for her students. She said she knew Colton was the one when he helped her put together chairs for her students. Honestly, how sweet is that? It is often the simple acts of service that mean the most.

A Lively Crowd and Nonstop Fun

The bridal party brought so much energy to the day. They were fun, supportive, lively, and always ready with a joke. Because of them, there was never a dull moment.

During the reception, the speeches had everyone laughing and tearing up. To add to the fun, the dance floor stayed packed all night. Every time you looked over, someone was spinning, singing, or cheering.

Cassidy and Colton’s wedding at The Red Fern felt warm and welcoming, but this crowd made it even more unforgettable. Everyone was so kind and cheerful, which made the celebration feel like one big family reunion.

Cupcakes, Cake, and a Sparkling Exit

Instead of cookies, Cassidy and Colton chose a beautiful cupcake bar. There were so many different flavors to try, and guests kept going back for more. We may have enjoyed our share of the yummy treats too!

As for the cake, it was made by one of the groomsmen. It was a sweet personal touch that meant so much to everyone, especially the bride and groom.

Finally, the night ended with an incredible sparkling exit. Guests lined up outside with sparklers in hand. Then, Cassidy and Colton ran through the glowing lights as everyone cheered.

It was the perfect ending to their wedding at The Red Fern. Truly, it was a Valentine’s Day dream from beginning to end. We are so thankful to have been a part of celebrating this beautiful couple. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. McClain!
