A Chateau d’Argy Wedding | Brookville
This day started with a lot of squeals, hugs and “oh my goodness it’s finally here!”. It seems like I was just capturing Noah and Jessica’s engagement session and now they are getting MARRIED! We spent their engagement session capturing romantic portraits and family photos with Noah’s children, Vance and Camilla. These two are spunky and a ton of fun. It was so easy to see that they absolutely adore Jessica and are excited for her to be a part of their family.
Jessica’s bridesmaids were so incredibly sweet. I honestly felt so undeserving of the compliments they gave us throughout the day. They were so kind, inclusive and encouraging…. just like Jessica. It’s no wonder they are all such great friends and close family members!
There were so many special parts of the day but one that stood out to me the most was the way that Jessica honored her father who passed away. She proudly displayed his uniform right beside her during the ceremony. I remember watching Jessica before the ceremony, as she carefully fixed the collar of his shirt and buttoned up his uniform and I couldn’t help but tear up thinking of how much she misses him. Jessica’s adorable grandfather shared in a first look with Jessica and walked her down the aisle. The father-daughter dance was just as special as six different gentleman made up of close friends and family, took turns dancing with Jessica. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place.
It may have been the first weekend in March but it was a beautiful day. This time of year can be limiting with photo opportunities because the leaves are not yet on the trees but we found gorgeous alternatives. We were working in high-speed mode after the ceremony to get everything accomplished but you would never know it in their portraits! They are such a joy to work with and it saddens me that our time with them is over!
This wedding post is the FIRST ONE of 2020 and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to begin with than these two. Noah and Jessica, we love you both! Your day was a dream and it was such a privilege to be the ones there to capture it!! Thank you for allowing us to be there!!! I can’t wait to share my favorites! Enjoy this visual story of your amazing wedding day!!
