Wintery New York Engagement Session
There’s always a little bit of a struggle doing an engagement in the dead of winter. There’s a lack of color because we’re missing the leaves and the grass and the greenery! However, it’s not impossible to have a great shoot in the middle of February and Zach and Liz’s shoot is proof of that! I drove to Ellicottville, New York to capture these portraits for this newly engaged couple. I met Liz a few years ago as she was a bridesmaid in a wedding that I captured in Watkins Glen, and I was thrilled when she called to ask me to photograph her own wedding. One of my favorite things about my job is when I get the honor of capturing another celebration for past bridesmaids. I remember being at Lexie and Joel’s wedding and fell in love with Liz. I squealed when Liz emailed me exclaiming she was engaged and that she wanted to be a SH Bride!
During their shoot, I had the pleasure of meeting Luna, their adorable little fur baby. Luna really should be a model because I swear she knew how to work the camera. I could tell from the very start of the session that Liz and Zach are meant to be together as they are truly best friends. I’m so proud of these wintery images and I cannot WAIT to photograph these two on their wedding day! Check out their sneak peek!!:
Absolutely amazing!
I am the very proud mother of Liz and am thrilled to welcome Zach into our family!
The pictures are as beautiful as their love for each other.
Thank you for really taking the time to get to know them, as it shows in your work! ❤️
It was such a pleasure to meet you and I’m so glad you joined up with us for the session. I adore your daughter (and future son-in-law) and am so excited to be a part of the wedding day and meet your whole family!
