Caleb & Nicole

Engagements

This is an exciting post for me to share! It’s exciting not only because it includes the sweetest couple, but because we have known Caleb for many years. He has been part of our church worship team and his brother, Josh, was our worship pastor for many years before he moved on to another ministry calling. Josh was such an instrumental person in Claire’s life and really the one that encouraged her to sing. She lead worship with him often through the years and we will forever be grateful for his influence in her life. Claire and I also traveled to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip several years ago with Caleb and his family and have enjoyed following the Wilson family through the years.

You can imagine how excited I was to hear from Caleb, asking to capture their engagement photos before he had to return for his military service. I couldn’t wait to meet the girl that Caleb fell in love with “at first sight”….but I can see why! Nicole is gorgeous and one of the dearest souls you could ever meet. We captured beautiful images at two different locations and even though it was below freezing, we still had a blast! Caleb nearly froze to death but you can’t tell in these pictures (Nicole kept him warm)!!

I have no doubt that God has beautiful plans for these two. They are both brilliant, compassionate and kind. It’s exciting to think of all that they will do together as a team!! I hope you enjoy my favorite images below! And as you scroll through these, imagine being in front of a camera in freezing temperatures and trying to look natural while you’re actually freezing! Thankfully, the next time these two will be in front of my camera, it will be A LOT warmer!!!
