Anytime I’m shooting in the middle of winter, I hope for two things—comfortable temperatures and fresh snow. Thankfully, Chelsea and Travis chose the perfect day for their January engagement session. Chelsea and Travis experienced a beautiful winter backdrop, and the conditions could not have been better. The soft light, the seasonal setting, and the excitement of this new chapter all came together perfectly.
Spending the afternoon with Chelsea and Travis was such a joy. Not only did we capture meaningful engagement photos, but we also had time to get to know them better. Their connection is natural and easy. They have a genuine way of making each other laugh, which made the entire session feel relaxed and fun. Those moments of laughter brought so much life into their images.
Chelsea and Travis made my job incredibly easy. They were comfortable in front of the camera and fully present with each other. From candid moments to more posed shots, everything felt authentic. As a photographer, that kind of chemistry is always a dream to work with.
Chelsea is also an incredible planner. She has accomplished so much in a short amount of time and already has most of their wedding planned. It’s clear she approaches everything with intention and care. I’m looking forward to celebrating with Chelsea and Travis on their wedding day this fall and capturing the next chapter of their story.
