Where to Begin?

Mary Anne and Hafiz’s wedding was a Heartfelt Celebration at Belle Voir, and it was one for the books! The weather was absolutely perfect, with sparkling light and a buzz of excitement in the air when I arrived. The bride hadn’t made her entrance yet, so Laurie and I took the opportunity to scout the grounds, which were lush with greenery and vibrant flowers—just stunning!

The Bridal Prep Fun

Upstairs, the bridesmaids were busy steaming Mary Anne’s gown and getting dolled up in their gorgeous peach dresses. The party officially kicked off when Mary Anne arrived, looking radiant with her hair and makeup all done. The girls were thrilled to see her, and after a few finishing touches—like a spritz of her favorite perfume—Mary Anne was ready for some natural light shots outside the main entrance. She was a dream to photograph, effortlessly striking pose after pose, and her signature giggle made every moment even more fun!

Meanwhile, Laurie was capturing Hafiz, who looked sharp in his beige suit with a coral bowtie. His groomsmen made sure every detail was perfect, and Hafiz was definitely looking his best! The outdoor ceremony was bathed in warm sunshine, and as Mary Anne walked down the aisle with her Uncle Javier, I heard Hafiz softly say, “She looks so beautiful.” Cue the happy tears! Mary Anne’s vows were next-level emotional, and I found myself tearing up right along with the guests.

After the ceremony, we all headed down to the blue water for some formal shots. The walk was anything but formal, though—Mary Anne and Hafiz dance-walked the whole way, cocktails in hand, keeping the vibe lighthearted and fun.

Now, let’s talk about that reception! The party was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The Liberians know how to celebrate, and they didn’t hold back for a second. The energy in the room was electric—everyone danced and partied like their lives depended on it! The highlight was when Mary Anne and Hafiz changed into their custom-made outfits, matching in gorgeous mauve. It was the perfect touch to end an unforgettable day.

All in all, it was an amazing day filled with love, laughter, and so much joy. What an honor and a privilege to be part of Mary Anne and Hafiz’s special day!
