An Erie Engagement Session

Engagements

MICHAEL & ELIZABETH

Some engagement sessions are just extra special, and Michael and Elizabeth’s Erie Engagement Session was one of those days that felt like pure magic. Not only did we get to photograph these two in beautiful places, but we got to tell a love story that’s deeply connected to the very spots where we shot.

A Spot Full of Memories

We kicked things off at the Bicentennial Tower in Erie—a place that holds so many memories for Michael and Elizabeth. It’s where they had their first kiss, where Michael proposed, and now where they’ll have gorgeous engagement photos to look back on. How cool is that?

The evening light was perfect, giving us soft, glowy vibes as Lake Erie sparkled in the background. And honestly, Michael and Elizabeth made our job so easy. They were total naturals in front of the camera, even if they were a little nervous at first. Pretty soon, it felt like we were all just hanging out rather than working through a photoshoot.

Adventures and Laughter

One thing you instantly notice about Michael and Elizabeth is how much they love adventure. They travel together, run marathons, and seem to always be up for trying something new. They’re definitely #couplegoals.

Michael even has a bit of experience with posing, which was so fun to see. He was excited to try new ideas and totally game for any suggestion we threw their way. Both he and Elizabeth were relaxed, laughing, and simply enjoying each other, which made for some of the sweetest moments to photograph.

Chasing Sunsets at the Beach

Once we finished at the tower, we headed over to Presque Isle State Park to keep the fun going. If you’ve never been there, it’s this gorgeous stretch of beach with soft sand, rolling waves, and sunsets that look like something straight out of a postcard.

Michael and Elizabeth’s Erie Engagement Session got even better as the sun started to dip low on the horizon. We captured them wrapped up in each other, with the waves crashing behind them, and the light turning everything gold and pink. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get better—they decided to splash around in the water! By then, we were all laughing and soaked, but it was completely worth it.

Instant Connection

From the very first moment, Michael and Elizabeth felt like friends. Even when we thought the fireworks at Bicentennial Tower might cause problems, they rolled with it like pros. They were up for anything, and it made the entire session feel effortless and so much fun.

Michael and Elizabeth, we’re already counting down the days until your wedding next May. Thank you for trusting us to capture your Erie Engagement Session in places that mean so much to you both. We’re beyond excited to see where your next adventure takes you—and to keep telling your beautiful story!
