COLTON & ALLISON
There’s something about summer evenings in Clarion that feels a little extra magical, and Colton and Allison’s Clarion Sunset Engagement was the perfect reminder of that. Between gorgeous river views, golden fields, and a sky lit up by the setting sun, their session was a blend of natural beauty and genuine connection that made every moment a joy to capture.
A Familiar Connection
I met up with Colton and Allison in Clarion, Pennsylvania, ready for a relaxed, summery evening. It was so fun reconnecting with them because Colton actually played basketball with my son Tim in high school. Plus, both Colton and Allison were in another wedding we photographed at Tuck’d Inn a couple of years ago for Claire and Brody. It felt like a mini reunion and made the whole session feel easy and comfortable right away.
River Views and Warm Smiles
We kicked off Colton and Allison’s A Clarion Sunset Engagement at the Toby Bridge boat launch. It’s a beautiful spot by the water, and it gave us a chance to capture some sweet moments while chatting and laughing. Colton and Allison were both so natural in front of the camera. Even though we were technically “working,” it felt like we were just hanging out and having a good time.
Chasing the Sunset
After leaving the river, we headed to a hillside that overlooks Clarion. This spot is one of my favorites for engagement sessions because it offers wide-open views and the most gorgeous sunsets. The light was perfect for Colton and Alison’s A Clarion Sunset Engagement, bathing everything in a warm, golden glow.
Despite the July heat and humidity, Colton and Alison were troopers. We took our time, let them relax and just be themselves, and captured so many photos full of genuine connection and joy.
Colton and Allison, thank you for sharing this beautiful evening with me. Your sunset Engagement was such a joy to photograph, and I’m counting down the days until your wedding at Tuck’d Inn in May!
