I was so excited for Meagan and Jacob’s big day – their McCandless Winter Wedding was truly one for the books! From the very first time I met them at their engagement session, I could tell their wedding would be something special. We clicked right away, and I got to meet a few of their close friends during that session too. We stayed in touch, and when the wedding day finally arrived, it felt like I was there photographing a dear friend’s wedding, not just a client’s.

A Beautiful December Day

It was one of those winter weddings you dream about. Even though it was just after Christmas, the weather was unbelievably warm for December – around 70 degrees in Pittsburgh! It was such a surprise, but it made the day even better. The warm weather was the perfect setting for the ceremony and celebration, but honestly, it was the warmth of the people that really stood out. Meagan and Jacob’s love for each other and the joy of everyone around them made this day unforgettable.

Laughter, Love, and Heartfelt Speeches

The ceremony was full of laughter and love – exactly what I expected from such a fun couple. The chemistry between Meagan and Jacob was undeniable, and their vows were so sweet and genuine. The bridal party was just as wonderful, everyone having such a great time and bringing even more joy to the day. The speeches were a mix of laughter and some tears as everyone shared their love and stories about the couple. There’s something so special about seeing friends and family open up and express their love for the couple in such a heartfelt way.

A Bridal Party Full of Support and Fun

One of my favorite parts of the McCandless Winter Wedding was getting to work with Meagan’s bridal party. Her girls were so much fun, and it was clear how supportive they were. They did everything they could to make sure Meagan’s day was absolutely perfect – from helping with little details to offering emotional support, they had her back every step of the way. The bond they shared was just as beautiful as the wedding itself.

A Cool Connection with the Videographer

Another fun part of the day was getting to work alongside Torrance Shepherd, the videographer. She’s Meagan’s best friend and also works on the Netflix series The Diplomat. How cool is that? It was so awesome to get to collaborate with someone who’s part of such a big project, and it definitely made the day even more memorable.

In the end, Meagan and Jacob’s McCandless Winter Wedding was everything you hope for in a wedding – filled with love, laughter, and incredible memories. It was a beautiful celebration of their journey together and the amazing people in their lives.
