Alexis and Dominic’s beautiful Central PA wedding was filled with joy, laughter, and special moments. We were so excited to capture every part of it and help this amazing couple celebrate their big day. What made this day extra special is that Alexis’s sister and Dominic’s brother are getting married next year, so it was really wonderful to have been able to photograph the start of two connected love stories. We feel incredibly honored to witness both celebrations for this amazing family!
Sweet Moments and Happy Tears
The day began in Indiana, PA, where Alexis and her bridesmaids got ready together. The room was full of love for the gorgeous bride. Her friends surprised her with a homemade book filled with photos and handwritten letters. Watching Alexis flip through those pages was such a touching moment and it was impossible not to get a little teary. Her girls were her biggest cheerleaders, hyping her up and keeping the morning lighthearted and fun.
After getting ready, we headed to the venue for their first look. You could instantly see the nerves melt away when Alexis and Dominic saw each other for the first time. That moment of calm and connection showed just how much their love grounds them. Their smiles said it all and it was clear they were just so happy to finally be together, focusing on what their day was all about.
A Ceremony Full of Meaning
Their ceremony was the heart of the day. Dominic’s dad officiated, adding such a meaningful layer that made everyone feel the love. Before the ring exchange, the rings were passed among family and the bridal party so everyone could bless them. It was a simple but powerful moment, and a reminder of all the love that surrounds this beautiful couple. And then for their unity celebration, they chose something completely their own… a shot at the altar! It was fun, original, and perfectly them, a reminder that love stories are best told in your own way.
Dancing, Pizza, and Endless Smiles
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour while Alexis and Dominic mingled and laughed with loved ones. Because we did so many portraits earlier, they had time to just enjoy being present. Their reception kicked off with a flip cup entrance, and from that moment on, the energy never slowed down.
They shared a beautiful first dance that brought happy tears all around, followed by sweet parent dances and a special bouquet dedication from Alexis to her mom. Later, they played a fun table challenge to get photos with every guest before officially opening the dance floor. And let me tell you, their friends and family know how to party!
Before the night ended, they snuck out for some stunning sunset photos, shared a private last dance, and then exited through a tunnel of sparklers. The perfect ending to a beautiful Central PA wedding… a quiet moment for just the two of them followed by a sparkling celebration with all their loved ones.
