A Timeless Outdoor Wedding

Only in PA can the weather go from horribly hot to cold and rainy in just a matter of days. Last week at this time, I would have never guessed we would be having fall weather already! Believe me, I’m so happy for the break in the heat, but I’m not loving the fact that I had to dig out my rain boots AND winter jacket quite yet….especially with so many outdoor weddings coming up in the next few weeks. One of the sweetest couples to date got married this past Saturday and we had been hoping all week that the rain would disappear but it didn’t…. and you know what…. IT WAS TOTALLY FINE!

Jessica never emailed me in panic mode… she never showed stress or worry even while it poured during hair and makeup and she could see it through the window… she never even showed hesitation about getting her dress dirty. I was shocked and honored at the same time. It’s almost like she knew that if she just trusted me, she would still have beautiful pictures and I cannot express how amazing that feels on a wedding day!! Josh and Jessica were amazing and their wedding day was an absolute blast. Family, friends and guests celebrated with them for hours and hours despite the weather and it was perfect!

Their three daughters were such a special part of the day…and each one looked like a princess. I also loved how Jessica and Josh each had their own vow book where they had personally hand wrote their sacred promises to one another. Josh received an extra special gift prior to the ceremony. It was the sweetest moment to watch as he opened his new pocket watch that read “No matter how much time has passed, I’ll always be there for the biggest moments in life” with a photo of his grandma.I felt so honored that I was entrusted with capturing the memories of this day!! I’m so excited to share Josh and Jessica’s big day with you!!
