Not only do I love it when they select unique locations and ideas for their shoot, I also love it when these ideas and locations have sentimental value. Sharon emailed me and shared her engagement session idea, and I loved it. Michael’s family has a long tradition of farming and still continues to this day. For generations, this industry has been a part of her family’s livelihood and a huge part of their story as well. It was a perfect idea to do their shoot at Sandy Ridge Farms in Shippenville, PA. I think I’m going to have to bring Claire back with me to try out their goat yoga!
Sharon and Michael started their session by showing me around the farm and the adorable baby calves. The fruit trees, country roads and flowing fields made for the perfect place to capture their theme and tell their story. It was so much fun getting to do something new for their shoot, but what I really loved the most was getting to spend time with these two and hearing their story!
