Meeting Allie

This gorgeous St. Catherine of Sienna wedding is more than I could have imagined! I remember meeting Allie for the first time and wondering if she was really that happy and charismatic all the time. Well, after getting to know her, I quickly realized that her JOY comes straight from her heart. She is truly one of the most personable and happy people I’ve ever met. Celebrating her wedding day was extra special because it was also Allie’s birthday! She told me that as long as she could remember, her birthday was always sunny and beautiful, so she just knew it would be the perfect day to plan a wedding.

Wedding Day Joy

It was an absolute JOY to be with Allie and Theron on their wedding day this past Saturday! They were married at the gorgeous Saint Catherine of Siena in DuBois, Pennsylvania. The light was incredible, the portraits were stunning, and everything went perfectly as planned.

The day started with hair and makeup in the Bridal Suite at DuBois Country Club. I was thrilled to have my sweet friend Molly assist me—having a second set of eyes is always a bonus, and we also have so much fun together. One unique part of the day was riding the trolley with the bridal party. We made a few extra laps around town… just because everyone was having such a blast. Harper, Calista, and Ryan were the life of the party and the best flower girls and Jr. Groomsman around.

From Engagement to Wedding

It feels like just yesterday I was getting to know Allie and Theron during their engagement session, but now it’s as if I’ve known them (and their families) for a lifetime. Theron is thoughtful, genuine, well-spoken, well-loved, and incredibly kind. His love for Allie is evident in every interaction. He blew us away with the amazing letter he read to her, and the surprises kept coming: gorgeous bouquets, balloons, and even a moment during the reception when everyone stopped to sing “Happy Birthday” to his new bride. Watching these two together filled my heart with joy.

Family, Friends, and Heartfelt Moments

The entire St. Catherine of Sienna wedding day was such an honor to be part of. From the moment we arrived to the end of the night when we hugged goodbye, we loved every second. I love capturing beautiful images of gorgeous people, but what I loved even more was seeing family come together. Theron’s brother and best man, Curt, gave one of the most heartfelt toasts I’ve ever witnessed, and I couldn’t help but get teary myself.

I could go on and on about how much I love this family and how perfect their day was… but I’ve shared plenty of photos already, and it’s going to take a while to scroll through them all!

Allie and Theron, you are an incredible couple. Your love for one another and for those around you shone brightly throughout your wedding day. We couldn’t love you more and are so thankful you trusted us to capture these memories.
