A Saint Catherine of Siena Wedding

I remember meeting Allie for the first time and wondering if she was really that happy and charismatic all of the time. Well, after getting to know her more, I quickly realized that the JOY that exuded from her was coming straight from her heart and that she was truly one of the most personable and happy people I had ever met. Celebrating her wedding day was extra special because it was also Allie’s birthday! She told me that as long as she could remember, her birthday was always sunny and beautiful so she just knew it would be the perfect day to plan a wedding.

It was an absolute JOY to be with Allie and Theron on their wedding day this past Saturday! They were married at the gorgeous Saint Catherine of Siena in Dubois, Pennsylvania. The light was incredible, the portraits were insanely beautiful and everything went as planned. The day started off with hair and makeup in the Bridal Suite at DuBois Country Club. I was thrilled to have my sweet friend Molly there to assist me for the day because not only is it nice to have a second set of eyes, we also have such a blast together. One unique part of the day was riding the trolley with the bridal party. We made a few extra laps around town…just because everyone was having such a fun time. Harper, Calista & Ryan were the life of the party and the best flower girls and Jr. Groomsman around.

It seems like just yesterday I was getting to know these two during their engagement session but now I feel as if I’ve known them (and their families) a lifetime. Theron is thoughtful, genuine, well spoken, well loved and incredibly kind. His love for Allie is so evident in every interaction with her. He blew us away with his amazing letter that he read to her and the surprises just kept coming. Gorgeous bouquets, balloons and he even had everyone stop during the reception to sing Happy Birthday to his new bride. He thinks the world of her and it made my heart so happy to see the two of them together.

The entire day was such an honor to be a part of. From the moment we walked in the door to the end of the night when we hugged goodbye, we loved being there. I love capturing beautiful images of GORGEOUS people but really, what I loved even more was watching the way family comes together. Theron’s brother and best man, Curt, gave one of the most heartfelt toasts I’ve ever witnessed and I couldn’t help but get teary myself. I could go on and on about how much I love this family and how perfect their day was…. but I have shared WAY too many pictures in this blog post and it’s going to take you a while to scroll through them!! Allie and Theron, you are an incredible couple. Your love for one another and for other people was shining so brightly throughout your entire wedding day. We couldn’t love you more and we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to be the ones to save the memories of your big day!!!!
