A Pinecrest Country Club Wedding | Brookville, PA
The week before Clay and Heather’s wedding, Heather shared with me how much she was hoping for snow. We anxiously awaited the forecast, and a snowstorm appeared the day before their wedding. Well, not only did the snow storm show up but so did the COLD!!! We woke up Saturday morning to a notification on our phone from the weather channel to watch out for the severe wind chill and lower than normal temperatures! Brrrr…
So, in 17 degrees, we headed to our first wedding of 2021!! Heather and Clay were champs. I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a couple SO dedicated to getting outdoor, natural light portraits!! I was layered up with two pairs of socks, a sweater, another sweater, a coat, and boots and it was hard for me to not shake after being outside for a few minutes! Heather was in an off the shoulder lace gown and she braved the miserable cold as if it didn’t bother her at all. I don’t know how she did it, but I’m so glad she was on board for some outdoor portraits because the snow was just gorgeous!!
The day went perfectly! Pinecrest Country Club was the perfect setting, and rather sentimental to me because this was the same location that Aaron and I had our own wedding reception over twenty years ago! Having my seventeen year old daughter with me really made me realize how fast time has gone since then.
We loved meeting Heather and Clay’s families and getting to know their friends! I think one of my favorite parts of the day was their reception. This crew knows how to have FUN and we enjoyed all the laughter and memories created throughout the entire day. Claire and I have the privilege of working with the sweetest couples and these two are no exception!
