A Gorgeous Wedding Day
What a gorgeous Mary’s Hope on Church Cove wedding day—from start to finish! The locations, the details, the people… everything was incredible. Elizabeth is incredibly detail-oriented, and while we had talked about some of her ideas, I had no idea how beautifully she would bring it all together. I loved every moment!
Elizabeth and Christopher tied the knot last Sunday, and I had been looking forward to this wedding all year. Claire and I first met Elizabeth over seven years ago on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. We worked together in the children’s ministry, singing songs, playing games, and holding little babies in remote villages. In moments like that, you get to know people quickly, and Elizabeth quickly became near and dear to our hearts.
Honoring a Loved One
Elizabeth shared with me last year how excited she was for her wedding, but also how deeply she felt the absence of her mom, who passed away in 2018 after a battle with cancer. Through it all, Christopher stayed by her side, supporting her with love and care.
On their wedding day, Elizabeth and Christopher honored her mom in the most meaningful ways. Her mom had written letters to Elizabeth before she passed, and watching Elizabeth open and read one brought tears to everyone in the room. The timing and words of that letter were perfect. Moments like these remind me why I love my job. Years from now, these images will allow Elizabeth, Christopher, and everyone who loves them to relive the joy, love, and emotion of their wedding day.
