Kristen and Colton
Kristen and Colton’s wedding at The Dream View was the perfect setting for a beautiful celebration. Captured by SHP Photographers Michaela and Becky, the new Mr. and Mrs. Stahl spent their day surrounded by love and happiness.
Their wedding day had everything you hope for, including sweet family moments, happy tears, and plenty of dancing. Most importantly, Kristen and Colton were completely focused on getting married and celebrating together.
“It’s Not Going to Rain”
The forecast predicted rain all day, but Kristen never seemed worried. She confidently told everyone, “It’s not going to rain,” throughout the entire day. And honestly, she was right for most of it!
We made it almost completely through portraits on the green before the rain finally arrived. Even then, we didn’t let it stop us. We found cover beneath the trees and captured a few final portraits before heading inside.
For Kristen and Colton, their wedding at The Dream View was never about perfect weather. It was about enjoying every moment together.
A Wedding Day Filled With Meaning
One of the sweetest parts of their day was the connection to Kristen’s family. Kristen’s parents were married at the same venue years ago. Because of that, the day carried an extra layer of sentimental value.
We even recreated some of her parents’ wedding portraits in the same locations. It was such a special way to honor their story while beginning Kristen and Colton’s own.
Kristen also chose to do something a little different with her wedding party. Instead of a traditional bridesmaids’ first look, she shared a first look with her groomsmen. The moment was filled with excitement, laughter, and plenty of personality. It was one of those little choices that made the day feel uniquely theirs.
Emotional Moments Before the Celebration
Before the ceremony, Kristen and Colton shared a beautiful first touch. They couldn’t see each other, but they could still hold hands and share the moment. That quiet connection created so much emotion before they walked down the aisle.
Those emotions continued throughout the ceremony. They exchanged meaningful looks and clearly felt the weight of the moment.
Then came the celebration! A wedding at The Dream View wouldn’t be complete without a packed dance floor. Jamie from Houserockers kept everyone moving throughout the evening.
The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and an unforgettable energy. Kristen and Colton were surrounded by people who were genuinely excited to celebrate them.
Congratulations, Kristen and Colton!
