SARAH & DILLON
Some wedding days leave you buzzing with joy long after you pack away the cameras, and Sarah and Dillon’s Wedding at The Willow was definitely one of those days. Their day was full of emotion, architecture, rain showers, and an incredible group of people who made every moment unforgettable.
A Gorgeous New Venue
Sarah and Dillon’s Wedding at The Willow was extra special because it was our very first time shooting at this stunning new venue in Johnstown, PA. The Willow is fairly new overall, and the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how gorgeous it is. The elegant interiors, beautiful grounds, and fresh atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for such a joyful celebration.
Portraits Among Historic Beauty
One of my favorite parts of Sarah and Dillon’s Wedding at The Willow was getting to return to the Johnstown Train Station for bridal portraits. I absolutely love shooting there. The architecture is so rich and full of character, with incredible arches, stonework, and pockets of gorgeous light. Even though rain poured as we drove to the train station, we found a quick ten-minute window between storms to capture some stunning portraits.
A Bride Radiating Beauty Inside and Out
Sarah is the kind of bride who lights up any room she enters. She’s beautiful both inside and out, and photographing her was a complete dream. She was all smiles, gracious, and overflowing with joy all day long. Watching Sarah and Dillon together was truly a gift. The way they look at each other, the laughter they share, and the gentle moments in between—it was impossible not to smile behind the camera.
A Day Full of Emotion and Fun
Sarah and Dillon’s Wedding at The Willow was full of heartfelt moments. One that stood out was right before the ceremony, when Sarah’s grandmother gifted her a special ring. It held deep sentimental value, and Sarah’s reaction was so touching.
Their church ceremony was equally beautiful, especially with the sunlight filtering through the incredible stained glass windows, filling the space with colorful light. Despite the heat and intermittent storms, the entire bridal party stayed upbeat, hype, and ready for anything.
Flower Girls, Ring Bearers, and a Joyful Ride
Adding to the magic were two adorable flower girls and two ring bearers. From the moment they arrived, the flower girls were smiling ear to ear and loving the camera. The ring bearers were little gentlemen, charming everyone in sight.
Sarah and Dillon’s wedding day had so many thoughtful touches—including riding in a school bus for transportation so the whole bridal party could be together. Even though it was a dreadfully hot day, everyone made the most of it, and the result was a wedding filled with laughter, love, and memories to last a lifetime.
Sarah and Dillon, thank you for inviting us to be part of your beautiful journey. Your Wedding at The Willow was a day we’ll never forget, and we wish you both a lifetime of sunsets even more beautiful than the one we shared on your wedding day.
