A DuBois Country Club Winter Wedding

Weddings

Marissa and Vincent

Marissa and Vincent’s DuBois Country Club Winter Wedding took place just ten days before Christmas, and it truly brought all the holiday magic and feels! From the start, the day reflected their joy and deep connection with family, and with each other. Fresh snow covered the ground, creating the winter wedding wonderland Marissa always imagined. It was cozy, romantic, and full of intentional moments.

They began the day at Marissa’s family home. It was perfectly decorated for Christmas and full of the warmth and nostalgia of this time of year. This was the home where Marissa grew up, which made for such a sweet morning. There’s nothing quite like being home for the holidays, especially on your wedding day! The snow gently falling outside made this time even more perfect.

Thoughtful Details and Sweet First Looks

Marissa thought through every detail with care and intention. Pops of blue were woven throughout the day and tied everything together. Those tones were so gorgeous against the white snow, and her attention to detail is beautifully reflected in these photos.

Before the ceremony, Marissa shared a first look with her dad. It was emotional and full of love. Soon after, she shared a first look with Vincent. He was beaming. He told her how beautiful she looked and how excited he was to marry her. Vincent also shared a first look with his mom. Their bond was obvious and very sweet. These quiet and honest moments slowed time in the best way, and were the perfect way to focus in on what the day is truly all about.

A Meaningful Ceremony and Private Vows

The ceremony took place at Saint Tobias Catholic Church. It was classic and timeless. Although simple, it felt deeply personal. Afterward, Marissa and Vincent chose to read their vows privately. This allowed them to reflect together without distraction. It was a tender pause before the celebration continued.

Following the ceremony, everyone traveled to the Country Club. Family portraits took place on the grand staircase lined with poinsettias. Soon after, guests gathered to celebrate their DuBois Country Club Winter Wedding.

Celebration, Surprises, and So Much Joy

The reception space was transformed into a stunning winter wonderland. Snowflakes, blue tones, silver accents, greenery, and soft lights filled the room. Cocktail hour featured charcuterie boards, warm appetizers, and cookie tables made by loved ones. There were delicious treats, gorgeous decorations, and lots of love at every turn.

Then came the surprises. Marissa’s dad gave a toast that had everyone laughing. Later, friends and family performed a cheerleading routine for Marissa. She is a cheer coach, and the moment was a fun surprise that had the room erupting with applause and joy.

As the night continued, the energy never slowed. Vincent, who plays the drums, joined the live band later in the evening. His dad and father-in-law joined him. That moment brought everyone to the dance floor.

A Perfect Ending to the Season

This DuBois Country Club Winter Wedding was full of laughter, love, and thoughtful moments. There was so much that made this wedding special. From the support of family and friends, to the dreamy snowy backdrop, to the packed dance floor, this day is one we will never forget!

What a perfect way to close the season and celebrate the joy of this time of year. Marissa and Vince, we are honored to have been by your side as you became husband and wife. Thank you for choosing SHP – we wish you so many blessings in all the years ahead!
