This was my first time photographing at The View, although several members of our team had worked there before. From the moment we arrived, I understood why couples fall in love with this venue. The panoramic countryside views truly take your breath away.
Located in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania, The View blends old-world romance with industrial chic design. Couples also enjoy both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, private wedding suites, and an entire weekend of venue access. Those thoughtful amenities make planning much less stressful.

A wedding at The View offers beautiful scenery while being intentionally designed to create a relaxed and memorable experience for couples and guests alike.
The outdoor ceremony site overlooks the rolling hills of Central Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, the elegant reception space features soaring ceilings, natural light, and large glass doors opening onto a covered veranda. Couples also receive access from Friday through Sunday, allowing plenty of time to decorate and celebrate without feeling rushed.
One feature we especially appreciated was the incredible planning team. Working alongside Serendipity Planned made every part of the day feel effortless. Their organization allowed everyone to stay present and enjoy each special moment.
Meaningful Family Connections
This wedding carried even more significance because we photographed another family wedding just eight months earlier.
Bayley’s twin sister, Alexis, married Cole’s brother, Dominic. Capturing both weddings has been such an incredible honor. Spending time with these families has created friendships we genuinely treasure.
The morning began with excitement as the bridal party gathered for hair, makeup, and plenty of laughter. Those getting-ready moments always create some of the most genuine memories.
Instead of a first look, Bayley and Cole chose a private first touch. Standing back-to-back, they held hands and quietly read personal vows. It was such a beautiful moment they shared just before the ceremony.
Personal Touches Made the Day Unforgettable
A wedding at The View gives couples plenty of opportunities to personalize their celebration. Bayley and Cole embraced that perfectly.
As proud Penn State graduates, they incorporated school spirit throughout the day. Blue and white pom-poms welcomed them during their grand entrance. Guests also traveled aboard a Penn State-themed bus between the hotel and venue.
Another touching moment came during the ceremony. Cole’s father served as officiant, just as he had during his brother’s wedding. His emotions reflected the deep love shared by both families.
The evening ended with an energetic dance floor, delicious late-night snacks, and nonstop celebration. Every guest left with wonderful memories.
