Embrace the Unexpected
If Jordyn and Samuel can teach future couples one thing, it is to embrace the unexpected. Their engagement session gave us an early preview of their go-with-the-flow personalities. They wanted photos at the lighthouse where they had their first date. Unfortunately, the lighthouse was under construction.
Instead of letting that ruin their plans, they immediately found another nearby lighthouse. They simply laughed, adjusted, and kept enjoying their evening.
Their wedding day brought another opportunity to practice that flexibility. Rain was in the forecast, but they still wanted their outdoor ceremony. So, they adjusted their timeline and completed extra family photos beforehand.
Sure enough, a light sprinkle arrived during their ceremony. Then, the heavier rain waited until immediately afterward.
Still, Jordyn and Samuel never let the weather take away from their excitement. In fact, Jordyn summed it up perfectly. Her dress had already served its purpose, so getting it wet was okay. She was such a sweet and beautiful bride, and her joyful spirit was such a delight to see.

An Intimate Celebration
Jordyn and Samuel celebrated with a smaller group of their closest people. They each had four attendants standing beside them, creating a tight-knit wedding party.
Throughout the day, everyone seemed genuinely thrilled to celebrate them. That excitement lasted well into the reception, but at the end of the night, Jordyn and Samuel got to enjoy a private last dance. No audience, no chaos, no timeline, just the two of them soaking it all in.
Together, Jordyn and Samuel have an infectious joy. They are sweet individually, but something special happens when they are together. That’s a connection worth celebrating, and it was so beautiful to capture!
